PLENARY PART 1

Reimagining our Work as Connected Kingdom Citizens in a Volatile World

This kick-off session lays the foundation for what it means to be a kingdom citizen with a kingdom vision and imagination. As beings created in the image of God, what does this mean for us personally and in our roles, whether as entrepreneurs, capacity builders, or investors. We will unpack the unique call of God, the agency that comes with kingdom citizenship, and the God-given authority and responsibility to govern, manage, and steward His creation in a really complex world. We will hear practical examples around the globe from different stakeholders.
PLENARY PART 2

Birthed from Pressure and Possibility: Reimagining Business in South Africa

Entrepreneurs who have reimagined business in South Africa have uncovered remarkable opportunities in both developing and developed markets. In this session, we will touch on the South African landscape and unpack the reality of two markets that exist here—each with immense potential. Together we will explore the exciting redemptive business opportunities that are being forged in the pressing realities of our context.
WORKSHOPS
1.1 Learning Across Cultures
Navigating differences with wisdom is essential in our super-connected and culturally complex landscape. We will explore how we might expand our capacity to communicate, collaborate, and thrive across boundaries. We will blend accessible theory with hands-on learning and insights from a panel of practitioners.
1.2 Providing Witness for the World: Faith/Work Integration in a Complex and Polarized Environment
South Africa’s transition to democracy was shaped by courageous Christians working behind the scenes for justice and reconciliation. This session shares their stories and explores how that legacy of Kingdom witness can inspire us to lead with faith in divided contexts today.
1.3 Kingdom Investing: How Our Identity Shapes the Way We Invest in People, Resources, and the Kingdom
How does our theology work itself out along key points across the investing value chain?  We will discuss the power of capital to be generative rather than accumulative, and relational rather than transactional.
1.4 Building National Movements: From Local Sparks to National Transformation
How do small, Spirit-led initiatives grow into national movements of Kingdom transformation? In this session, frontier and emerging market leaders will share case studies of how collaboration, generosity, and entrepreneurship have fueled national ecosystems that move beyond poverty, fragmentation, and dependency. Together we will explore how brokenness can become blessing, and how local sparks—when stewarded faithfully—can ignite transformation across an entire nation.

Risk, Failure, and Faith

This plenary digs in to explore what faithful risk-taking looks like in a volatile world—challenging conventional success metrics and embracing failure as formation. Through stories and scripture, we will reframe risk as a vital part of Kingdom leadership, rooted in trust, courage, and co-creation with God.
WORKSHOPS
2.1 Coaching & Mentoring for Leaders: Empowering through Mentorship, Coaching for Excellence & Impact
How coaching and mentoring can help leaders develop and hone a spectrum of skills, build confidence, and improve ability to motivate and influence others. We will discuss the  what, why, how, with who of mentoring and coaching and also provide insights on the best practice tools and methods across different regions.
2.2 South Africa's Impact Story
Are believers leading or following or ignoring this story?  We will examine key initiatives where believers are either shaping, shadowing, or sidelining transformative change. Through lived examples, we will ask: Are we stewarding opportunity or staying silent in moments that call for courageous action?  This session challenges us to rethink how we define success, opening space for Kingdom-rooted innovation shaped by context, humility, and faith.
2.3 Ecosystem Mapping 101: The Power of Partnerships to Multiply Impact and Influence
Why do we care about ecosystems? An introduction to what ecosystems look like, how to understand their value and leverage their power.  Tailored for first-timers to the entrepreneur support organization (ESO) world or those setting up an ESO.
2.4 Redeeming Power Dynamics in the Investment Process
As capital flows, it unleashes creative power. At the same time, it tempts every actor in the investment cycle (LP, fund manager, founder) to participate in distortions of power. This session will help us identify the subtle ways toxic power dynamics undermine or negate our effectiveness in deploying capital. With particular attention to international transactions, we will apply biblical principles of power to the investment cycle and will provide examples of how investors have sought to put these into practice: in developing investment mandates, in performing due diligence, in crafting agreements, and in the post-investment journey.
WORKSHOPS
3.1 Kingdom Impact Management for Resource-Constrained Companies
How to choose the right indicators to measure holistic impact, especially when resources are limited? We will look at three levels of resource capabilities, and discuss takeaway impact management tools and case studies for each level.
3.2 Restitution in South Africa: Policies, Practice, Problems, and Solutions
A cautionary tale for achieving systemic change. We will explore Christian-led initiatives that are pioneering relational solutions to the challenges of inequality, unemployment, and dependency.
3.3 Ecosystem Mapping 102: Mapping Your Ecosystem and Adopting What Works
This session builds on session 2.3: a combination of sharing tools for mapping, giving examples of how ecosystems were mapped and then built, and how to leverage what's already happening as well as target opportunities for new collaborations and opportunities.
3.4 Investing in Emerging Markets 101: the Continuum of Capital Needed
A discussion on the range of different capital sources and funding mechanisms and their associated risk, impact, and return expectations.
WORKSHOPS
4.1 Guardrails for Visionaries: Navigating the Tightrope of Kingdom Governance and Redemptive Risk
Think governance is just red-tape? Discover how robust governance is a loving, biblical act crucial for protecting your mission, reputation, and attracting vital investment. This interactive workshop will explore the dynamic tension between secure stewardship and embracing "redemptive risk," equipping you with practical safeguards to build lasting businesses. Gain critical insights on data privacy and AI governance, and learn to build a business beyond reproach that can truly last and make a profound Kingdom impact.
4.2 Rethinking Best Practice in Fundraising Strategies: A Capacity Builder Braintrust on Innovative Fundraising and Resource Development
With familiar funding streams drying up and traditional approaches falling short, how can we reimagine resource development through a Kingdom lens? This interactive braintrust brings together the insights and creative strategies of participants working across sectors and contexts. We will crowdsource ideas, and surface practical approaches to fundraising and sustainability.
4.3 The Church as a Key Ecosystem Player in driving Social Impact
How can social impact champions partner with the church, which holds often untapped potential to drive deep, sustainable change in communities. We will discuss how to actively engage the church as a vital ecosystem stakeholder—drawing on its unique spiritual, social, relational, and physical contributions.
4.4 Trial, Error, and Success in Raising and Deploying Capital in Today’s Bear Market
This interactive workshop will address the current, often challenging realities of raising and deploying capital in a rapidly evolving global context. Rather than focusing solely on theory or static case studies, participants will engage in candid dialogue, peer learning, and collaborative problem-solving. Through facilitated discussions and practical exercises, the session will surface real-world challenges and innovative solutions that investors, fund managers, and entrepreneurs are experimenting with (or have observed in action) across the sector. The emphasis will be on sharing practical approaches that can be adapted or scaled, helping participants leave with insights, stronger connections, and fresh perspectives on how to navigate today’s complex capital landscape.

Shaping the Christian Impact Framework: A Feedback Workshop on Phase 2 Metrics
This brainstorming session invites participants to review the proposed impact metrics that have been co-created over the past year from a wide group of global stakeholders, and provide thoughtful feedback on their relevance, clarity, and applicability. Whether you're already using the framework or engaging with it for the first time, your insights will help refine how we understand and measure redemptive impact. WORKSHOPS
5.1  Wisely Adopting Emerging Trends: How Capacity Builders Can Manage More Effectively with New Tools
What does it look like for capacity builders to take first steps with new practices and tools? This session offers an introductory look at emerging frameworks, whether everyday uses of AI, the EOS system, or others and how even simple entry points can strengthen mission and create lasting impact.
5.2  Strengthening Critical Value Chains in Emerging and Frontier Markets
This session explores case studies from critical sectors including agribusiness and healthcare. From capacity building to investment approaches shaped by complex realities, we will take a grounded look at what it means to pursue redemptive impact in some of the fastest growing sectors across our markets.
5.3  Finding Multipliers Among Microbusinesses
What does it take to identify "multipliers"—those small businesses with the potential to grow, employ others, and access investment?  We'll discuss practical strategies for support, pathways to scale, and what kind of capital, mentorship, and infrastructure are really needed to help develop high-impact microbusinesses.
5.4  Working Session on Fundraising Strategies
Reimagine the fundraising endeavor from a Kingdom perspective!  Fundraising should honor the relationships involved, not the funds themselves.  This working session tackles bridge building between those who are raising funds and those who are receiving.  We must bridge builders and think about fundraising, whether it's philanthropic or investment, in a way that honors God as king and honors all of the relationships that are included.
